Theory, on a Bank Holiday

I know multiple shredded posters on things have been done to death, but I saw this in Curzon Street today and just had to have it.
Have it. Perhaps my attitude to photography is really all about consumption. To have a meaningful interaction with something I see, I have to acquire its image. Like those people who trudge listlessly through art galleries, then go bananas in the adjoining shop.
Or perhaps it's about possession. My photography is essentially colonial in intent, I seek to conquer the Other.
I'm thinking too much.
